This Vitamin D stands in 3 ways:
A liposome is a tiny bubble made out of the same material as a cell membrane. In essence it's a minute oil bubble that forms an ideal "transporter" and protector of the Vitamin D3. Liposomal Vitamin D3 is better absorbed and stored than Vitamin D carried in other ways.
WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN D2 and D3?
Vitamin D3 is the type produced by your body in response to sunlight. It converts much more rapidly into the Biologically active form of Vitamin D that your body uses, which is 1,25 DehydroxyD3. Vitamin D3 is also stored better in the body than D2.
WHAT DOES THE VITAMIN K HELP WITH?
The benefits of vitamin D, especially in terms of bone strength and cardiovascular health, are greatly enhanced when combined with vitamin K.
HOW MUCH VITAMIN D3 IS IN THIS SUPPLEMENT?
WHAT'S THE RECOMMENDED DOSAGE?
If a Vitamin D deficiency has been confirmed by a blood test then the dosage recommended by the referring doctor is suggested. If you haven't had the actual test done and are ready to start supplementing on the basis of the high probability that you are deficient then we recommend starting out at 2500IU - 5000IU per day for one month. Thereafter 2500IU - 5000IU once or twice a week.
